Re:        Update on LCB’s online Portal  

 

It’s been a full week since LCB launched our expanded online Portal. 

 

The week was spent getting comfortable with new internal workflows and helping customers who also need to learn a different way of accessing LCB services.  

 

Overall, the release was successful. As with all major IT projects, we expected there to be a few technical bugs. The project’s IT team continues working to identify and fix any bugs or system defects. Every Wed. from 8 p.m. – 12 a.m. the Portal will be offline while the IT team deploys these fixes.  

 

We appreciate your patience as we work to make sure the Portal improves your experience accessing LCB’s services. 

 

Below are a few helpful tips to improve your Portal experience. 

 

Most Portal services require you to create an account  

  • Only Banquet Permits, Household Moves, and Public Records Requests can be made without setting up an account and logging in.  
  • Start by clicking the "Log In" button on the top right of the Portal page.  

 

UBI Information - 16 Digits 

  • When you are asked for a 16-digit UBI, please enter a combination (in this order, with no spaces) of your: UBI# Business ID# Location ID#. These three items added together total 16 digits. 

 

Miscellaneous Tips and Assistance 

  • Please use Chrome as your browser.  
  • The search feature in the Portal is not working. Use the LCB’s website search to find information on specific licenses and other LCB services. 
  • More information and user guides for specific Portal tasks are available on the Portal Resources page. Most Portal processes are easy to follow without a guide.
