Clarifications Regarding Meeting Structure Changes and Board Efficiencies
Earlier this week, LCB announced strategic changes to the Board meeting, Board caucus, and the Executive Management Team (EMT) meeting structures. The intention of these changes is to align with Gov. Ferguson’s priority of increasing government efficiency, enhancing productivity, and strengthening community engagement.
This follow-up message is to clarify that these changes are still under discussion by Board members, and the upcoming Wednesday, Mar. 26 Board meeting will continue in its current format. The Board will discuss timelines and have further conversation about the proposed changes at the Tuesday, Mar. 25 Board Caucus.
The Board will continue to identify additional opportunities to create efficiencies and streamline processes while taking feedback into consideration directly from staff, community partners and stakeholders.
