Subject:          Diamond Shruumz Mushroom RECALL

 

As of June 27, 2024, Prophet Premium Blends of Santa Ana, California has recalled Diamond Shruumz Infused Cones, Chocolate Bars, and Gummies (Micro- and Mega/Extreme-Dose), due to a series of illnesses occurring in 27 states.  To date, there have been 58 cases with severe illnesses because such products contain Muscimol, a chemical found in mushrooms of the genus Amanita; Muscimol could be a potential cause of symptoms consistent with those observed in persons who became ill after eating Diamond Shruumz products.

 

US Food and Drug Administration put out an announcement to include the List of Products that may contain the Muscimol discussed above.  With that said, all flavored Diamond Shruumz Infused product are subject to recall. 

 

Retailers and distributors should stop distribution, discontinue sales, quarantine the product immediately and contact their sales representative to initiate the return and refund. After contacting their sales representatives, Prophet Premium Blends will issue return shipping labels, verify the inventory, and thereafter issue the refund.

 

If a consumer becomes ill after eating the product, please seek immediate medical attention as well as reporting it to the Washington Poison Center by calling 1-800-222-1222.
