LCB Board Action: Rules filed – Changing WSLCB to LCB – Public comment period now open
On May 8, during a regularly scheduled meeting, the Liquor and Cannabis Board took the following action related to general rulemaking:
Approved proposal for expedited rule making (CR 105) to replace the acronym of the Board “WSLCB” with “LCB” where they occur throughout Title 314 WAC, the rules of the Liquor and Cannabis Board. In addition, this rulemaking will also replace remaining occurrences of the former name of the agency “Liquor Control Board” with “Liquor and Cannabis Board.” No other changes are proposed in the rulemaking.
The Board is accepting comments on this rulemaking until July 22, 2024. Please contact rules@lcb.wa.gov with comments or questions on this rulemaking.
