Important Notice Regarding Access to LCB Services beginning June 21, 2023
On June 21, the LCB will begin offering three agency services to the public using a new web-based portal. The portal, which is accessed directly through the agency’s public website will initially offer Banquet Permits, Public Records Requests, and Household Move Permits.
The goal of these changes is to provide an improved, efficient, and user-friendly experience to those who use the LCB's services.
In early 2024, the portal will expand to offer the majority of additional agency services to the public and licensees. Ultimately, the portal will process license applications, permits, payments, renewals, and other services.
Modernization of Systems
The new portal is one of the major milestones in the ongoing Systems Modernization Project. This project’s focus is to replace the agency’s multiple outdated platforms to a single, modern system.
We do not expect the June 21 changes will have a significant impact on LCB’s customers. However, for the first few weeks, employees will be adjusting to the new technology and workflow tasks and there may be a minimal impact on processing speed. We appreciate your patience as we work toward improving the efficiency of our services.
While we are confident that everything will go as planned, we have a backup plan if something unexpected should happen. The agency will communicate if there are any unanticipated challenges that would impact your work with the agency.
