Good afternoon,

On Monday, May 15, a CCRS release will be available for you to begin using. Resources for these changes will be added to the CCRS Resources webpage on Monday morning.

Beginning Monday May 15, 2023, the Lab Test, Plant Destruction and Sales .CSV files currently in use will no longer be accepted in CCRS. On that date you must use the updated .CSV files and valid values found on the CCRS Resources Page.

The changes include improvements to .CSV files, verbiage to user-facing pages, bug fixes, and other items to improve your user experience.

CCRS will be offline and unavailable from May 14, 9 p.m. to May 15, 12 a.m. while we move the changes to production.

What changes are being made?

CCRS Processing Error Messages - Email Subject Lines changes

  • Test and PRE added to beginning of each subject line and added to body of email
  • User submitted file will be included at the end of the subject line

Lab Test .CSV changes - values removed

  • FailExtractableOnly, FailRetestAllowed, FailRestAllowedExtractableOnly and SampleCreated – all are removed and no longer valid entries

Plant Destruction .CSV – New Field added

  • “Destruction Detail” added to Plant Destruction .CSV
  • This is a required field if “DestructionReason” = Other

Sales .CSV – Renamed SalesTax and OtherTax

  • SalesTax will display as “RetailSalesTax”
  • OtherTax will display as “CannabisExciseTax”

 Javascript Library Update

Changes to licensee relationship with Integrators and Expired Licensee

  • System to identify Expired Licensee
  • System to identify valid Licensee to Integrator relationship

How does this impact YOU?

  •  If you haven’t yet done so, you can practice using the new .CSVs (Lab Test, Plant Destruction, Sales) for reporting and manifest generation. These new files will ONLY work in the PREproduction (testing/practice) environment until May 14, 2023 at 9 p.m.
  •  On Monday May 15, 2023, the Lab Test, Plant Destruction and Sales .CSV files currently in use will no longer be accepted in CCRS. On that date you must use the updated .CSV files and valid values found on the CCRS Resources Page
  • If an old .CSV format (the ones currently in use in CCRS) is used on or after May 15, 2023, the upload will fail.

We hope you will spend some time trying out the changes in PREproduction before May 15, 2023.

If you have any questions or run into any challenges using the PREproduction environment, contact TestCannabisReport@lcb.wa.gov. For any issues with the regular CCRS production, please contact servicedesk@lcb.wa.gov.

 Thank you,
