In our Spring 2023 cannabis and alcohol newsletters, we notified licensees that the LCB was evaluating the use of lockboxes for mailed payments.
We are excited to announce that we are beginning a trial implementation of this system starting today, May 1, for anyone applying for a replacement MAST permit or if anyone applying for an added endorsement to an already existing license.
This means those applying for a replacement MAST permit or an added endorsement will now be sending payment to a new address. The new address is already reflected on these applications, with the goal of reducing mail-in payment processing times.
We plan for a full rollout to all licensees sending in payment to the LCB June 1, 2023.
