LCB to Host Retail Safety Best Practices/Licensee Q and A with Local Law Enforcement

Following the March 29, 2022 roundtable on the recent wave of robberies at cannabis retail stores, Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) staff moved quickly on several fronts to fulfill certain requests discussed at the forum.

The first opportunity for licensees is a retail security best practices training/panel hosted by the LCB with insights by law enforcement representatives from the Puget Sound corridor.

Event

What to Expect

  • Area law enforcement representatives will share “best practices”
  • Participants will have opportunities to submit questions via chat
  • Small format discussion specific to the needs and concerns of retailers

In order to create a safe and frank discussion centered on retail security, this meeting is limited to retail businesses only. Invitations were sent only to the email addresses of licensees on file for each retail store. It is not open to the broader public or media. Please only share with your store manager.

If you have any advance questions about format or access, please contact jessica.petteys@lcb.wa.gov
