On March 16, during a regularly scheduled meeting, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) took the following action:

Proposed rules filed—Public comment period now open:

The Board approved a Rule Proposal (CR 102) regarding Axe Throwing at Liquor Licensed Premises. The proposed rules allow liquor licensed premises to provide axe throwing activities with the approval of a safety operating plan. The safety operating plan would require protocols for monitoring patron intoxication and consumption of alcohol, and a floor plan identifying both the designated areas where alcohol is allowed and the axe throwing areas where alcohol is not allowed.
