LCB Board Action: Preproposal Statements of Inquiry (CR-101) for Electronic Notice of Service and Pesticide Action Levels WAC 314-55-108

On February 2, during a regularly scheduled meeting, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) took the following action:

General Rule Making action:

Preproposal Statement of Inquiry comment period now open:

The Board approved a Preproposal Statement of Inquiry (CR 101) regarding Electronic Notice of Service. The WSLCB is considering amending rule sections in title 314 WAC as may be required to allow the WSLCB to serve certain notices electronically. The WSLCB is also considering amending rules in these chapters to allow the WSLCB to accept documents related to license applications and appeals through electronic submission.

Cannabis-related action:

Preproposal Statement of Inquiry comment period now open:

The Board approved a Preproposal Statement of Inquiry (CR 101) regarding WAC 314-55-108 - Pesticide action levels. The WSLCB is considering WAC amendments to update chemical information about some types of pesticides included in quality control testing. Updates are also needed to amend existing rule language concerning remediation of marijuana products that have failed quality control testing, and to update the term “quality assurance testing” to “quality control testing.”
