Re:  Tribe and Integrator Data in CCRS

Clarification on CCRS Data for Tribal cannabis reporting

LCB has learned about confusion regarding Tribal entities reporting in CCRS. Specifically, the commercial integrator Greenbits made statements to Tribal clients that this message is intended to clarify.

Greenbits statement to Tribal clients reported to LCB

You have a Tribal license and unfortunately the CCRS hasn't provided us with instructions on how to proceed with that type of licenses. I'd recommend that you contact the CCRS directly so they can assist you better.

LCB Clarification Message

There is no block or restriction on Tribal reporting from LCB.
Greenbits and other approved integrators can use the same reporting process as they use for other cannabis clients.

Tribes do not have a unique reporting structure within CCRS. Tribes were not called out specifically in our documentation as they do not have a unique/different platform to report through, or a different set of content to report to the State.  If the Tribe is operating in the full market, they retain the reporting requirements connected with their license privilege type (i.e. Producer/Processor/Retailer).  Page 24 in the CCRS User Guide posted on the CCRS Resources page outlines the reports that are required by privilege type.

This is the same as the operation in Leaf. Tribes that are Retailers – report like a Retailer. There are no unique requirements, or lack of detail from LCB, that would create a regulatory or process barrier in the services that Greenbits chooses to offer.

Tribal Compact provisions remain the agreement between the State and Tribes. The implications of the compact language remain between the Tribe and Washington State.

Greenbits Statement Reported:

Tribes called up and said that Green Bits told them they needed to have a state business license number in order to be integrated.

LCB Clarification Message

A Tribe remains the same as before. They report based on the LCB license number that is assigned to them.  They look just like any other license in the privilege type.

We do not require UBI on any of the CCRS CSV reports.

LCB Communication with Greenbits

The LCB has communicated with Greenbits regarding this issue and they have reported that:

  • The issue is being resolved currently, and
  • Greenbits clients should reach out to Greenbits support team with questions.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
