LCB Board Action: Proposed Rules for Cannabis Quality Control Testing
On December 8, during a regularly scheduled meeting, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) took the following action:
Proposed rules filed–Public comment period now open:
Approved a rule proposal (CR 102) regarding cannabis quality control testing. The proposed rules would require that all cannabis (marijuana) products produced, processed, and sold in Washington State are tested for pesticides, and would allow the WSLCB to conduct randomized or investigation- driven testing of cannabis products for heavy metals.
