Board Action: New rulemaking begins regarding social equity in cannabis.
Today, during a regularly scheduled meeting, the Liquor and Cannabis Board took the following action:
New Rulemaking Approved: Approved a preproposal statement of inquiry (CR 101) to consider rulemaking in response to future recommendations of the Social Equity in Cannabis Task Force, and changes to current rules that will reduce barriers to entry in the legal cannabis market.
Public Comment
If you wish to offer initial comment, please provide those comments to the Liquor and Cannabis Board by mail, e-mail, or fax by December 17, 2021. The CR-102 with proposed new rule sections and rule amendments is anticipated to be filed on or after June 22, 2022, following collaborative rule development.
