Dear Marijuana Licensee:

Beginning Thursday, February 1, Leaf Data Systems will be operational as the Traceability system for Washington State.

Any new software system will have some anomalies at startup. Should you have issues, contact Leaf Data Systems directly at 888-420-5813 and they can help you navigate through your issue. Support will be available seven days a week, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where to start
Visit the Getting Started with Leaf page on LCB's website for step-by-step instructions.

If you use a third party software provider, you will need to log into Leaf Data Systems at https://traceability.lcb.wa.gov/ after it is live on February 1, 2018 at least one time to retrieve an API Key. This is a unique identifying credential you will supply to your software provider so they can integrate into Leaf Data Systems on your behalf.

Also listed on the Getting Started with Leaf page are steps to upload your inventory into the new system and registration links to live webinars to assist you with this process, along with monthly sales and tax reporting information, and more.

Weekly Contingency Reporting ends when Leaf Data Systems goes live, or 12:01 a.m. February 1, 2018. There will be a 15-day grace period for you to transition to using Leaf Data Systems for inputting your traceability data. See the Getting Started with Leaf page for details.

Last Note:
Even after uploading your inventory into Leaf Data Systems, remember to keep your contingency records in the event of a future audit or recall.
