9 AM Snow Service Update for Friday, Feb. 24
EXTREME WEATHER BULLETIN
All Routed and ACCESS services are back to normal at 9 AM today, Feb. 24, except for Route 8-Bethel.
Route 8 cannot serve Fred Meyer or Bethel Avenue south of Walmart.
Kitsap Transit Fast Ferries and Local Foot Ferries will operate normal schedules unless high winds or unsafe conditions at a dock force us to cancel sailings.
Kitsap Transit encourages riders to take precautions and be prepared:
- If your stop is on a hill, please walk to a stop on flat ground.
- Give yourself plenty of time to get to the bus stop in the snow. Your bus stop may be late during inclement weather, so dress warmly and please be patient.
- The floor of the bus or ferry may be slippery. Please use caution.
- Download the Kitsap Transit Tracker mobile app to see the real-time location of your bus or ferry and view the expected time of arrival at your stop.
