Route 20–Navy Yard City Detour Update Feb. 8
Effective Wednesday–Saturday, February 8–11
Starting on Wednesday, Feb. 8, Kitsap Transit will alter the current detour of Route 20–Navy Yard City during road work. The detour is expected to last through the end of the week, Saturday, Feb. 11.
Detour Update: Route 20 will not travel Charleston Boulevard south of First Street. It will bypass Rodgers Street, Lafayette Avenue, Patten Avenue, a portion of Arsenal Way and all of Summit Avenue. During the detour, the bus will travel First Street to Marion Avenue. On return trips to the Bremerton Transportation Center, after traveling G Street, the bus will travel Charlotte Avenue, Preble Street, National Avenue, Loxie Egans Boulevard, Marion Avenue and First Street back to its normal route.
Fourteen stops will be closed – three on Charleston Boulevard south of First Street, two on Rodgers Street, one on Lafayette Avenue, one on Arsenal Way and seven stops on Summit Avenue (see map). One temporary stop will be added to Charlotte Avenue.
