Starting Wednesday, April 1, Kitsap Transit is reducing Routed bus services temporarily by more than 30 percent until further notice. Kitsap Transit's total boardings on Routed buses are down more than 80 percent from the last week of February, before social-distancing measures went into effect to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eight bus routes will be suspended on April 1 until further notice:

Route 22 - Gateway Express Route 229 - Trenton Commuter
Route 81 - Annapolis Commuter Route 234 - Kitsap Mall/Bangor
Route 91 - Kingston/Bainbridge Route 333 - Silverdale/Bainbridge
Route 92 - Kingston/Suquamish Route 338 - Gateway/Bainbridge Express

All other Routed services will operate reduced schedules. The temporarily reduced service schedules are posted at http://KitsapTransit.com/COVID-19. First responders and health-care workers affected by this service reduction who need transportation assistance can contact 360.479.7272. In addition, the Park & Ride at the Suquamish Clearwater Casino closes on March 31 until further notice.

Kitsap Transit strongly recommends customers use our real-time Kitsap Transit Tracker mobile app to see if their bus is currently operating and its estimated arrival time. Customers using a web browser can visit http://kitsap.doublemap.com/map/.

Worker/Driver services have been operating temporary routes since March 23. For details on the Worker/Driver temporary routes, please visit http://KitsapTransit.com/service/workerdriver-buses.

Customers who purchased April passes will receive automatic refunds in the form of an E-purse credit for the value of their monthly pass.

Kitsap Transit has restricted passenger loads on its ferry sailings to 46 persons, with priority for health-care workers and first responders. The fast-ferry reservations system is suspended until further notice, and customers do not need to cancel any unused reservations while the system is suspended.
