Temporary Service Changes to Bainbridge Island Bus Service
Effective January 4-20, 2020
Beginning on Saturday, January 4, Washington State Ferries (WSF) will change its sailing schedules temporarily for Bainbridge Island and Bremerton routes due to construction at Colman Dock. Most WSF afternoon sailings will shift by 20-40 minutes. While Kitsap Transit buses will similarly shift, some late WSF sailings may not be served by buses.
All changes below apply only to weekday afternoon trips from Bainbridge Ferry Terminal starting at 3pm.
On-island routes will wait for WSF to offload all vehicles.
Schedules for all on-island routes (93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 & 106) will shift by 20-40 minutes to coincide with arriving WSF ferries. At 7:50pm several routes will be combined: Route 93 & 94 (Agate), 96 & 94 (south of Agate), 95 & 106. The last ferry served arrives at 8:30pm; only two buses will be operating combined ferry-take-home service at that time – one for north Bainbridge Island and one for south.
BI Ride trips also will be adjusted on weekdays and Saturdays.
Visit the schedule for your bus or ferry service on KitsapTransit.com. A link is posted at the top of the service's webpage to the temporary schedule.
