East Bremerton and Silverdale Bus Service Upgrades

Effective December 2

Beginning on Monday, December 2, Kitsap Transit is upgrading bus service in Central Kitsap, with new or adjusted schedules for many bus routes.

The Wheaton Way Transit Center will open in East Bremerton, offering nine bus bays and a 162-stall Park & Ride. Starting on December 2, Kitsap Transit will no longer serve the current East Bremerton Transit Center in the parking lot of a shopping center at SR 303 and Sylvan Way.

As a result, Routes 15, 19 and 21 will be replaced or absorbed by new or existing Routes 215, 219, 221 and 229, while Routes 223 and 225 will be realigned to serve the new transit center.

In Silverdale, Routes 32, 34, 35, 36 and 37 will be replaced or absorbed by Routes 234, 235, 237 and 332. In addition, Route 217 will add a trip at 6pm weekdays from Silverdale Transit Center.

Subscribers to rider alerts for the discontinued routes will be able to subscribe to alerts for the new routes by Wednesday, December 4.
