& 229–Trenton Commuter
(absorbs Route 21– Perry Avenue)
Effective Monday, December 2, 2019
Beginning on Monday, December 2, Kitsap Transit will launch the next phase of bus service upgrades, including the opening of the Wheaton Way Transit Center in East Bremerton! With the transit center’s opening, Routes 15, 19, and 21 will be replaced or absorbed by new or existing Routes 215, 219, 221 and 229, while Routes 223 and 225 will be realigned.

NEW Route 229
- Route 229 is a new commuter route that absorbs parts of Route 21
- Serves the Wheaton Way Transit Center and new 162-stall Park & Ride
- Serves the majority of Trenton Avenue, traveling from Wheaton Way Transit Center to Bremerton Transportation Center
- Route 229 operates during commuter hours only
