Construction is now underway at Silverdale Recycling and Garbage Facility as part of a planned improvement project. This project will modernize the facility to improve safety, accessibility, and efficiency for the Central Kitsap community.
What upgrades is the facility getting?
Planned upgrades include expanded garbage capacity, a paved recycling area, and a credit card payment option. The redesigned recycling area will eliminate stairs, allowing customers to drive up and conveniently drop off materials.
