The brain is a vital and complex contributor to our overall health and lifespan. While some brain changes may be expected over time, others may be noticeable warning signs of dementia, another medical condition, or medication effects or interactions. Although the brain is a complicated system, brain health is grouped into a few key areas, making it easier to find and use strategies that may help you minimize functional decline, injury, or disease.
With June being Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, immediate and ongoing opportunities are offered below for information about brain health and options for maximizing your health and supporting yourself, a family member, or friend with memory loss.
