Across the country, Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) advocate for and provide free or lower cost services and supports that help older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers with living independently at home. Additionally, they promote healthy aging education and partner with organizations to meet the unique interests and needs of those they serve in the local community.
In May, your local AAA, Kitsap County Aging and Long-Term Care is hosting a variety of in-person and virtual information sessions in recognition of Older Americans Month. The 2025 theme, Flip the Script on Aging, is celebrated nationally and encourages individuals and communities to challenge stereotypes and dispel misconceptions about aging. This month’s free, sessions include the following. See event location details HERE.
-
What Does Kitsap Aging Information and Assistance Offer Me? (two session dates)
- Covers a wide range of services & supports intended to help older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers.
