PORT ORCHARD, Wash. - Kitsap County is pleased to announce the opening of the Pacific Building, a 24/7 emergency shelter that will serve our unhoused community.
We have appreciated your interest in this project and would like to extend an opportunity to see this facility before residents move in.
Please join us for an open house at the Pacific Building on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. The facility is located at 4459 SE Mile Hill Drive in Port Orchard.
The Pacific Building, a transformed 20,000-square-foot facility, will provide shelter and support services for up to 75 individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
During the open house, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Tour the facility
- Meet staff members and county commissioners
- Learn about the comprehensive services being offered
- Ask questions about shelter operations
This drop-in event is free and open to all community members. On-site parking is available. To learn more about the Pacific Building, visit our project webpage.
