Meet North Kitsap school board directors and fire chief at June 6 Suquamish Community Advisory Council meeting
Suquamish residents are invited to attend the June 6 meeting of the Suquamish Community Advisory Council to meet North Kitsap School District Board of Directors Breane Martinez and Stacy Mills, who is also the district's tribal liaison. They will share updates and take questions. The meeting is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Suquamish Police Department, 18490 Suquamish Way, Room 1188, on the lower, west side of the building. Parking is available off the driveway on the lower level.
The meeting also features a presentation from North Kitsap Fire & Rescue Chief Rick LaGrandeur, who will provide an overview of trends in emergency response and a progress report on efforts to replace the Suquamish fire station as well as the upcoming emergency medical services levy.
The SCAC traffic safety committee will give updates and this is an opportunity for the public to share concerns and ask questions.
