Medical Examiner investigating death of unidentified male found in Jackson Park area July 26

For Immediate Release:

 

The Kitsap County Medical Examiner’s office is currently investigating the death of an unidentified adult male who was found near the intersection of Pass Street and Grays Harbor Court in the Jackson Park area of Bremerton on July 26, 2023. Due to hazardous terrain, the body was recovered with assistance from the Bremerton Fire Department and Navy Region Northwest Fire and Emergency Services.

An autopsy was performed by Kitsap County’s Chief Medical Examiner Lindsey Harle. Due to advanced decomposition, identification as well as cause and manner of death are pending records comparisons, toxicology results and outside testing.

The Medical Examiner will release further information when it becomes available.
