 Suquamish Tribe's historic preservation officer Dennis Lewarch looks at changing community patterns June 3
The Suquamish Citizens Advisory Committee welcomes Dennis Lewarch, Historic Preservation Officer of the Suquamish Tribe, who will give a presentation entitled "Changing Community Patterns on the Port Madison Indian Reservation" at its next meeting, which takes place 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 3. Dennis has 50 years experience as a professional archaeologist and conducted archaeological investigations throughout the United States and Mexico. He worked in the private sector for engineering firms, and taught archaeology and cultural resources management at the University of Nebraska, University of South Carolina, and University of Washington.
The SCAC meeting also features a brief update from Kitsap County Public Works on proposed transportation impact fees.
