Spread Joy, Not COVID: Plan ahead for the holidays

As COVID-19 continues to spread in Kitsap County and across the state, gatherings and other activities remain restricted. We need to continue to plan ahead and find new ways to connect over the holidays so we can slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep our families healthy. 

The Washington State Department of Health offers a safe gatherings website with tips on celebrating safely here. The CDC also offers tips for safer holiday gatherings here.

With highly anticipated COVID-19 vaccines on their way, in this live conversation, researchers from Fred Hutch will talk about their participation in Phase 3 COVID-19 vaccine trials, while leading physicians will answer the “most-asked” vaccine questions they hear every day.

This event is convened by Washington State Department of Health, in partnership with Fred Hutch and participating panelists.

New vaccine information website offered  

The Kitsap Public Health District created a new COVID-19 vaccine information website to provide updates on vaccination plans, resources for local health care providers and community partners, and to offer other important information from the Washington State Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure the public is prepared when a COVID-19 vaccine is available.
