10/26/20 UPDATE: Kitsap Public Health reported a new COVID-19 associated death for Kitsap County. The community member who died was an older adult (65 or older) with underlying health conditions. With the addition of this case, 22 COVID-19-associated deaths have been reported in the county.

COVID-19 drive-thru testing site launched today
A new drive-thru COVID-19 testing site at Pendergast Regional Park in Bremerton provided tests to 78 people Monday during its first day of operation. The site, established by the Kitsap County Emergency Operations Center and Kitsap Public Health District, is open Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Testing is available for anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms, has been exposed to a COVID-19 case, or meets other testing criteria. For information or to register for testing, go to kcowa.us/covidtesting.
While the Pendergast testing site is available three days a week, you shouldn’t wait to seek testing if you have any COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to a COVID-19 case. Many health care providers and clinics throughout the county offer testing, and drive-through testing is available at some pharmacies. Check Kitsap Public Health’s testing provider list for more information.
