National Day of Service and Remembrance

September 11th is Patriot Day and a National Day of Service and Remembrance. On this day, Americans across the country are called to volunteer in their communities in tribute to the individuals, including the first responders, lost and injured in the 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City, Arlington, Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

The Kitsap 9/11 Memorial at Evergreen Rotary Park in Bremerton is open all day for visitors.
