Horseshoe Lake open through Sept. 27
Kitsap County Parks Department has announced the seasonal opening of Horseshoe Lake County Park will be extended, in response to unseasonably hot temperatures forecast for this month and the closure of the swimming areas at Long Lake County Park due to blue-green algae.
Horseshoe Lake County Park will continue to be open daily, from dawn to dusk, through September 27.
