Updates on COVID-19, Silverdale hospital expansion at Central Kitsap council meeting Aug. 5

The Central Kitsap Community Council meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, and welcomes Dr. Gib Morrow, the new health officer of the Kitsap Public Health District, who will give an update on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Kitsap County. Matt Wheelus, vice president and chief operating officer of St. Michael Medical Center (formerly Harrison Medical Center) will provide information about the opening of the hospital expansion in Silverdale.
