Governor Jay Inslee today revised restrictions within his "Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order, loosening limitations on recreational activities such as day-use of public lands and fishing. Large public gatherings and team sports still are not allowed.
With these revised guidelines, Kitsap County Parks will open all parking areas May 5. Playgrounds, dog parks, sports courts, shelters, and restrooms will remain closed for the duration of the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order. All visitors are asked to continue following social distancing and other recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control.
The Parks office remains closed. To contact staff during this closure, call (360) 340-6661 or email parks@co.kitsap.wa.us. Parks staff will make every effort to respond to inquiries in a timely manner, however, a delayed response could be experienced due to limited staff availability.
