Kitsap County Public Works is moving forward with a Facility Access Plan to allow limited access to county waste facilities during the coronavirus pandemic.
We are temporarily opening Olympic View Transfer Station and the Hansville Recycling and Garbage Facility with limited hours and services. Read the sections below to learn about facility restrictions and guidelines.
Subscribe to our email/text alerts or monitor the waste facility webpage for current and accurate information. We may make changes to this plan at any time, so please keep yourself and others updated. We appreciate your continued patience, understanding, and flexibility!
These facilities remain closed: Recycling and Garbage Facilities in Silverdale and Olalla; Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility. We are not currently opening Silverdale and Olalla because these facilities cannot accept credit/debit cards and cash handling is too risky for our staff.
