Waste Management's customer service line has reopened
Waste Management's (WM) customer service hotline has been closed for the last few weeks while they moved their employees to remote work.
This hotline has now reopened. Visit wmnorthwest.com to find service rates and contact information for your area. Wait times for starting a new service may be longer than normal.
About curbside waste services
Kitsap County does not regulate or provide curbside waste services in Kitsap County. County staff is not able to assist you with new or existing curbside waste services.
WM is the permitted service provider for the unincorporated county, and these services are regulated by the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission.
Within City of Port Orchard and City of Bremerton, residents are required to have curbside trash and recycling service. Both cities contract WM to provide this service.
Within City of Poulsbo, residents are required to have curbside trash and recycling services. Poulsbo provides its own trash service and contracts Bainbridge Disposal to provide recycling service.
Within City of Bainbridge Island, Bainbridge Disposal is permitted to provide curbside trash and recycling services.

Olympic View Transfer Station remains open to account holders.
If your business does not have a current account, you can request limited weekday access to Olympic View Transfer Station. This request form is for businesses providing essential services or with waste that is a public health threat (putrescible waste, food, rat-infested, etc.). Requests submitted through this form will be processed within one business day.
