Effective immediately: Waste facilities are closed to self-haul customers

Effective immediately, the following Kitsap County waste facilities are closed to all customers:

  • Silverdale Recycling and Garbage Facility at 8843 NW Dickey Road, Silverdale
  • Hansville Recycling and Garbage Facility at 7791 NE Ecology Road, Kingston
  • Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facility at 2850 SE Burley-Olalla Road, Olalla
  • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility at 5551 SW Imperial Way, Bremerton

Olympic View Transfer Station (near the Bremerton Airport on Highway 3) is open only to commercial account holders. Self-hauling customers cannot bring waste, and the recycling area is not open.

We are closing to comply with the Governor's Stay Home, Stay Healthy order.

The Kitsap County Solid Waste Division will issue more guidance for self-haulers as soon as possible. Sign up for email or text alerts or monitor kcowa.us/dropoff. Thank you for your patience during this rapidly evolving situation. We will all get through this together!

 

Curbside waste services are operating normally

Kitsap County does not provide or oversee curbside waste services.

Waste Management customers should monitor http://wmnorthwest.com/ for updates.

City of Poulsbo residents should monitor https://cityofpoulsbo.com/public-works-solid-waste/.

City of Bainbridge Island residents should monitor https://bainbridgedisposal.com/.
