Community members and local businesses are invited to an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Village Green Community Center to see proposed changes to State Route 104 in downtown Kingston. The proposal would relocate Washington State Ferries traffic to Northeast 1st Street to accommodate travelers heading to and from the Kingston Ferry Terminal.

The upcoming Washington State Department of Transportation open house follows an in-depth process with local businesses, citizens and Kitsap County. The group has worked to develop potential solutions to improve traffic flow in Kingston. Visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/sr104/kingston-ferry-terminal/home to learn more.
