School superintendent reviews plans, innovative strategies at Kingston community meeting
The Kingston community is invited to join in a discussion with North Kitsap School District Superintendent Dr. Laurynn Evans at the Kingston Citizens Advisory Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road NE.
There has been a lot going on in the North Kitsap School District over the past year! Dr. Evans will provide updates and a roadmap for implementation of the school district's new innovative programs, a brand new strategic plan, and a focus on being ALL IN for all students. Learn how NKSD is focused on creating students who are confident, competent, creative and compassionate people, prepared for a world yet to be imagined. Questions are welcomed and encouraged.
The KCAC meeting is preceded by the Kitsap County Budget 2020 Open House, scheduled for 5-6:15 p.m. in the Village Green. The public is invited to learn how tax dollars are spent in the proposed budget and ask questions.
