"This unprecedented winter storm creates a challenge for everyone," said Commissioner Ed Wolfe, Chair of the Kitsap County Commission. "We're proud of County road crews who have been working 12 hour shifts around the clock since Thursday night. Their skill and expertise helps keep roads clear for law enforcement, fire, medical and deliveries of vital supplies. We are appreciative of the service and dedication of those employees as well all the corrections staff, mechanics and facilities staff that are supporting the County’s operations during these multiple weather events”.
