POULSBO – Drivers using State Route 307/Bond Road Northeast in Kitsap County will see crews restriping a segment of the highway as they create new left-turn lanes at the SR 307 intersection with Foss and Pugh Roads Northeast.

Work will take place 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12 until 7 a.m. Friday, July 13.

There will be one-way alternating traffic for installation of the new left turn-lanes during this time. Drivers are encouraged to plan extra travel time to reach their destinations, especially during the morning hours. The work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.

The left-turn lanes are intended to help reduce the potential for collisions and improve traffic flow. The striping changes are the result of a Practical Solutions process in which traffic engineers looked for cost-effective ways to improve traffic flow.
