King County Metro is working with the cities of Kirkland and Bellevue to plan, design, and implement a new bus rapid transit (BRT) line, known as the K Line. It will connect Eastgate to Totem Lake and provide fast and reliable transit options on the Eastside while connecting employment hubs and urban centers. Metro is conducting its third phase of community engagement now, prior to finalizing a “locally preferred alternative” (LPA) for the K Line.
