Art Project Grant

WA ARTS

ArtsWA is offering support to groups providing art programming with and for the people of Washington State. Organizations do not need to have an arts-focused mission to apply.

Funding amounts: Applicants can request between $2,000-$5,000 for their project. If awarded, grant amounts can vary depending on panel recommendations and available funds.

Kirkland Police Arrest Key Suspects Behind Organized Retail Theft Ring

Organized retail theft has been a concern for businesses in Kirkland and around the Puget Sound region for some time. Tackling these crimes continues to be a priority of the Kirkland Police Department (KPD).  Kirkland officers, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, recently arrested three people believed to be part of an organized retail theft ring responsible for stealing $80,000 in merchandise from retailers in Kirkland and the greater Seattle area over the last several months.

Apply Now for $10,000 Backing Small Businesses Grants

In partnership with American Express, the Backing Small Businesses grant program supports economically vulnerable and under-resourced small businesses with community reach. This year, eligible small business owners can apply for $10,000 grants for projects that grow or improve their businesses by building community, supporting their economic viability, or bolstering meaningful change.  Applications will be accepted now through April 7, 2024, at 11:59 pm CT. The application period will end once 5,000 applications have been submitted, even if that occurs before the deadline.
