History of the Program
Kirkland Ca$h is coming back! A community currency that functions just like cash and can be spent at participating businesses in the City of Kirkland, Kirkland Ca$h was originally developed as part of the City's support strategy to help businesses deeply and negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since its original use to support hotel stays, Kirkland Ca$h has served as a powerful tool to strengthen public-private partnerships, encourage philanthropic giving, support struggling sectors, and more.
What is next?
This new round of Kirkland Ca$h promotion will begin in early 2024, starting with Kirkland residents receiving Kirkland Ca$h when they get a new or renew an existing pet license. If your business would like to participate and you have not yet registered, please reach out directly to cswitzer@kirklandwa.gov and we will activate your business.
