A Message from EM

Carly Pacekonis HeadshotOEM is excited to announce our new Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Carly Pacekonis!

Carly is a passionate adventurer. She hails from her native Connecticut. Post college graduation, she packed up her things and moved to Washington in 2018. Since then, she has been employed as a wildland firefighter, and an environmental specialist as a part of FEMA supporting disaster recovery projects. Through her work in emergency management, Carly has developed a passion for helping to strengthen communities. Her work has brought her to California, Missouri, and Nevada. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking new recipes, board games, meeting as many dogs as possible (as well as the people attached to them) and is a long time ocean lover. Carly is enthusiastic to grow her experience as a lifelong learner, and start working with the Kirkland team as an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
