Kirkland Shamrock Run 5K Race & Family Fun Run

The Kirkland Shamrock Run is a fun-filled 5K celebrating Kirkland, healthy living, and of course, St. Patrick's Day! Come join multitudes of other Irish culture enthusiasts on March 17, to run or walk through downtown Kirkland. Benefiting local nonprofits, this event has become a tradition for many area residents. For those over 21 be sure to join the post-race party at Wilde Rover for a pint!

Geoffrey Castle’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Topophilia: A Sense of Place, A Sense of Feeling explores the significance of place, and is based on the central concept that an individual’s personal perspective of a place shapes their artistic interpretation and expression. The 16 artists in this exhibition use their experiences, memories, and imaginations to create places both real and surreal, familiar and fantastic, and to express their feelings about the world around them. Meet the artists and curator at the opening Reception on March 9. $5 wine and beer.

Parklane Gallery in Kirkland Presents Featured Artist Franklin and Waters

Strauss and Wagner: Kirkland Civic Orchestra

Kirkland Civic Orchestra is an all-volunteer classical symphony orchestra offering free concerts in the Seattle area. The mission of the orchestra is to offer amateur musicians a great opportunity to play interesting repertoire for our supportive audience. The March concert will feature music by Johann Strauss and Richard Wagner.

Studio East Mainstage Productions: A Midsummers Night’s Dream

Of all Shakespeare’s plays, this must be the best-loved. It is the story of a night of confusions in a haunted wood. The Taj Mahal Trio

One of the most prominent and influential figures in late 20th century blues and roots music, Taj Mahal is a 2014 recipient of the Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award. Henry Saint Clair Fredericks, who goes by the stage name Taj Mahal, is an internationally recognized blues musician who folds various forms of world music into his offerings.

Tango Scent: An Evening with the Music and Dance From Argentina

Tango master Patricio Touceda is joined on stage by Argentinian tango dancer Anabella Diaz Hojman, together they form an explosive combination of energy and softness, strength and beauty.

Whisperings All-Star Piano Concert

This event will feature live performances by more than a dozen internationally acclaimed solo piano artists including the nominees for the 2018 Whisperings Album of the Year. At the end of the concert, the Album of the Year winner will be announced and the award presented.

Come Together: A Benefit for KPC Featuring Crème Tangerine

Creme Tangerine returns to perform the Beatles’ masterpiece album 1 in a benefit concert to support Kirkland Performance Center. For more than a decade Crème Tangerine has been thrilling audiences in the Pacific Northwest with its unique approach to performing the music of the Beatles. Proceeds from the night benefit KPC’s 2017–18 presented season.

Sierra Hull

Sierra Hull, a bluegrass singer, mandolinist, and former child prodigy returns to the KPC stage to perform songs from her newest album “Weighted Mind.” The Bluegrass Situation dubbed her a “mandolin-playing wonder.”

David Lindley

Multi-instrumentalist David Lindley performs music that redefines the word “eclectic.” Lindley, well-known for his many years as the featured accompanist with Jackson Browne, and leader of his own band El Rayo-X, has long championed the concept of world music.

An Evening with Groucho

Award-winning actor and director Frank Ferrante recreates his PBS, New York and London acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in this fast-paced 90 minutes of hilarity. The two-act comedy consists of the best Groucho one-liners, anecdotes and songs including “Hooray for Captain Spalding,” and “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.”

Survivorman: Les Stroud Live and Acoustic

Survivorman: Les Stroud Live and Acoustic is a musical/story-telling and video concert experience like no other. Intimate music and stories woven together with beautiful video imagery for a presentation that is as much inspiring as it is entertaining.
