A Big Thank You!
Looking back at the past year, 2023 has been a busy one for the Learning & Development Team. We have added and implemented more workshops, always striving towards our True North and Values. In producing these new workshops we reached out to all of you to create a “Tester Group” and found your input to be invaluable. We wanted to give a special thanks to the 102 people who signed up for our tester pool! You have helped ensure our instructor led workshops and eLearning in development are the very best they can be and actively contributed to our collective goal of making King County a welcoming community where every person can thrive. We are so much greater together!
Workshop Pilot and Beta testers provide valuable feedback on workshop curriculum, design, learning goals, activities, and in-workshop engagements. With the help of our testers this year we have launched two new workshops, Leading for Well-being and Building High Trust Cultures, and on January 18, 2024, we will be launching Equity, Racial, and Social Justice (ERSJ) Fundamentals: A Journey Through Socialization.
Feeling left out? Want to join our tester pool? Don’t worry! There are some exciting workshops that will be in development in 2024. Fill out this Interest Form and let us know! The form provides detail of what is needed and expected from our testers. After submitting the interest form, you will be added to the list of folks our L&D Team reaches out to with opportunities to participate as new workshops are being developed.
If you have any questions about being on our list of testers, please contact us at kctraining@kingcounty.gov. And again, a BIG Thank You to those who participated this year!
