The sixth-annual Big Backyard 5K is coming up on Sunday, May 31 at Marymoor Park in Redmond, and there are a few short days left to snag a $5 hoody courtesy of Harborstone Credit Union. Register by midnight on Friday, Feb. 20 to get this amazing deal!

Cirque at Marymoor Park, now through March 22

Tickets are on sale now for Cirque du Soleil’s KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities at King County’s Marymoor Park. Set in the latter half of the 19th Century, KURIOS follows the story of an inventor whose gadget-filled dreams come to life on stage, transporting audiences to a realm of discovery. Cirque has come to Marymoor Park five times since 2005, and their shows are a critical source of revenue that supports King County’s 200 parks, 175 miles of trails, and 28,000 acres of open space. Duthie Hill Rider

Celebrate Duthie Hill Park’s newest feature

Join King County Parks, the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office, and more friends of Duthie to celebrate the grand opening of the new 74-space parking lot at the corner of Southeast Duthie Hill Road and Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road that will serve as the main access point for the mountain bike park.

Come celebrate with us and then enjoy a ride around the park!

After acquiring nearby land for the lot, King County Parks completed the parking area, trailhead and access trail in January. The project was funded by the King County Parks Levy and a grant from the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program.
