Route 70, 71, 72, 73 revisions begin Sept. 28
King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 09/27/2013 11:44 AM PDTMetro is making service revisions that begin Saturday, Sept. 28.
Routes 70, 71, 72 and 73 will be rerouted due to the relocation of the University District Farmers Market to University Way NE between NE 50th Street and NE 52nd Street.
Route 70
On Saturdays only, the northbound routing for Route 70 trips to the University District will be revised to operate via NE 45th Street, 11th Avenue NE, and NE 47th Street. Route 70 will not operate on 15th Avenue NE north of NE 45th Street, or on NE 50th Street and Brooklyn Avenue NE on Saturdays.
Southbound trips will operate via NE 45th Street to 15th Avenue NE and will then follow regular routing to downtown Seattle. Route 70 will not operate on NE 52nd Street, University Way NE, NE 50th Street and 15th Avenue NE north of NE 45th Street on Saturdays.
Routes 71, 72 and 73
On Saturdays only, northbound routes 71, 72 and 73 will be revised to operate via 15th Avenue NE between NE 50th Street and Cowen Pl NE. These routes will not operate via University Way NE between NE 50th Street and Cowen Pl NE on Saturdays.
Southbound trips will operate via 15th Avenue NE and NE 50th Street to University Way NE and follow regular routing to downtown Seattle. These routes will not operate on University Way NE between Cowen Pl NE and NE 50th Street on Saturdays.
