On Thursday, September 10, from 4:30-7:00 PM, drop in at Jubilee REACH (14200 SE 13th Pl, Bellevue) to join the City of Bellevue and our neighbors for the Great Neighborhoods Lake Hills and West Lake Sammamish Kickoff!
Bellevue’s Great Neighborhoods program is the process for developing neighborhood area plans that reflect the community’s values and vision for the future. Come meet the planning team, explore neighborhood data, and share your thoughts on the future of Lake Hills and West Lake Sammamish. This a family-friendly, drop-in event and light refreshments will be served. Registration is recommended but not required.
All Kirkland community members are encouraged to take the online 2026 Community Survey, a biennial survey that gauges community perspectives on the quality of life in Kirkland, satisfaction with city government services, and priorities for the future. The Kirkland City Council will use the input as they develop the city budget for the next two years. Take the survey by August 31 and make your voice heard!
The City of Redmond will be distributing $50,000 in microgrants to fund youth-led climate initiatives that benefit Redmond. This is a fantastic opportunity for youth teams to lead on climate action for their community!
Next Wednesday, September 2 from 4:00-6:00 PM, city staff will host a Youth Climate Action Fund Fair at the Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village (6505 176th Ave NE, Room 202, Redmond). Drop in anytime to brainstorm ideas, meet with subject matter experts, and receive feedback on your applications before you submit them. Applications are open through Sunday, September 20.
