Summer 2026 Update
Dear Friends:
Happy Summer and Happy 250th Independence Day!
As we mark the 250th anniversary of our nation's independence, with the excitement of the World Cup still building across our region, a point I often make is as clear as ever: sports brings people together. Sports also creates jobs, spurs our economic recovery, advances regional priorities, improves transportation, and builds the kind of collaboration our region depends on. If these past months have reminded me of anything, it is that our greatest strength is our people, and that there is no substitute for sitting down together, listening, and learning.
